What is the proposed idea/solution?

Functionality to hide/show comments in a collapsable window within interfaces, specifically the "Record Review" page

How does is solve the user problems?

Allows users to hide/show what they need to see. Provides more real estate on the window if comments aren't relevant at that point in time.

How was this validated?

Many clients have inquired about this feature.

Who is the target audience?

Everyone who uses Interfaces and turns on the Comments feature

I am having this issue now - I would like the option to have the window open full screen rather than a side panel. When sharing screen with clients to show our info, we don't want them to see our conversations on the side. Help!

Hi all.

In the interface edit view, just disable the 'Comments' option under the 'User actions' section.

It worked for me. I hope it helps.

@thiago021 Thanks for the suggestion.

The problem is the comments are an important feature that we require access to on many interface pages.

Disabling it isn’t a solution, hopefully a collapsible option is released!

+1! Please make this something that can be easily collapsed when in production view mode.

Agreed with everyone, please make this a collapsible feature! it remains open for me even if there are no comments and it takes so much space on the page. Thanks!

yes please!! On laptop screens, my team has complained immensely that they cannot see everything in the actual record view bc of the record view column and the comments column, but they absolutely need the comments bc they are all new to airtable. NEED users to be able to collapse the comments in production on their own!

Agree!

+1 for this change! Getting requests from our clients about this regularly.

+1 for this. Would love to be able to share my screen and not have the comments/revision history take up 1/3 of my screen.
