Extend new "Search Block" for find & replace

The search block accomplishes a way to find items in my tables, and I like it.

I believe a logical extension to this function would be to allow one to update many records (mass) as a 'find and replace" use case, in addition to searching the table.

Please consider adding this feature, as I believe it to be a very useful productivity case, and it will indeed be popular for all block users.

I strongly support the addition of Find and Replace functionality.

The Batch Update and DeDupe blocks are great, but only if you want to replace the entire value of a field. Sometimes you want to change portions of a value, and for this reason find and replace is necessary.

+1000 to this.

I just started using Airtable and was surprised that it lacks this almost universal feature.

Sample use case: As Airtable doesn’t seem to recognize that 1.000.000 is one million and not 1 unit (because it reads periods as commas), I’d need to search and replace all periods in that column before turning it into a currency.
