When constructing a formula in a formula field, until I press save, I guess what the results might look like for a given record or two.

I’d like to remove the guesswork and a result preview might help. Perhaps a preview could show the result based on the first (or current) record in view. When the syntax of my formula has no errors, it’d be sweet to see a real-time result preview to guide me to:

• further adjust my formula or


• give me confidence to save.

I believe a formula result preview would reduce the back and forth of trying formula, saving, and editing again, repeatedly.
