Like many robust webapps I use, I’d appreciate it if pressing ‘?’ in most general places rendered a pop-up of all the keyboard shortcuts in a scroll-able list. Presumably I could also exit w/ ‘?’ or ‘esc’.

It would be really great if locked views ALSO prevented creators from adding brand new fields to that particular view.We had a problem occur today where a creator added several new fields onto one of our locked views, which then threw off another one of our processes — which entailed copying & pasting rows between tables.Once the creator added those new fields into the middle of our view, the copying & pasting of records between tables didn’t work properly anymore — because the fields didn’t match anymore.If a view is “locked”, it would be really awesome if it was TRULY “locked down” — meaning no new fields can be added to that view.

I have 2 tables, and I need a result that shows only inputs that are the same in both tables. Hence, to compute the intersection of a number of arrays. array intersect ( array1, array2 [, array#… ] ) Returns an array containing all the values of array1 that are present in all the arguments. Where: array1 The array with master values to check. array2 An array to compare values against. … A variable list of arrays to compare. Any workarounds at this point?

I am loving the web clipper block. Saves me a lot of time with updating my base, but has a few limitations, ie., Date Field, Linked Record Field. Would be good to have this in the clipper even if it is a manual entry. Would you know of a workaround to set that up or a timeline if this is in the works?

For capturing text and urls from other apps (for example, to a table of bookmarks) it would be great to have the ability to share to some field of some table of some database in the standard android way.

It would be a great plus for us (non US users) to use comma instead of dot and vice versa.

I’d love a NORMALIZE and STANDARDIZE functions.

My organization is looking at using Airtable for our yearly enrollment process. Every year, members renew, and some new ones join. We would love it if renewing members could put in their business name into a form view, and their information from last year would auto-populate, and they only had to review information (rather than enter it all over again).Can this please be done with Airtable? If Airtable doesn’t do this in the program itself, what third-party programs can I link to Airtable to make this happen?Any and all help would be appreciated!

When you expand a record, it could be useful to have the option to split the screen and have the record on the left, and the attachment (or gallery if there is more than one) on the right.:point_right: This way you can complete your record while looking at the attachment (use cases: fill a bug report from a screenshot, copy details from a receipt, add tags about an illustration for a scrapbook…)

The Airtable table I tried to share in the following thread is not correctly displayed. Track Room Items Base design I want to track what items are in which room. What is the ideal solution for this? For now, I am not interested in the quantity, but only that a certain item exists in a room or not. For the items exist unique categories, namely furniture, tool and machine. I asked a question and was suggested to post a feature request here.I’ve defined linked records between two tables, say, Customer and Order with a one to many relationship.In a view of Customer I can expand a cell in the linked order column to see a list of order records, but that list has a fixed format. I already have nicely configured Views for Order data. I would like expand cell to display the linked orders using one of those existing Views with an appropriate record query that filters to just the matching orders.Likewise, in a view of Order, I want to click on a linked customer record, or “expand cell” to display that single customer using an existing View of Customer that I’ve configured.Looks like there is no pre-built way to do this, nor scripted approach since a script can’t control the main table/view display.

Hi there,Please continue to invest in improving array functions (and other formula functions) within Airtable. The array functions are very limited right now in both scope & functionality.This recent thread highlights a few of the problems with arrays (e.g. they don’t work on text fields, they don’t work on lookup fields, there is no array function for display values that are duplicated across 2 fields, 2 arrays can’t be used as multiple inputs for another array function, etc.), but doing a search in the forums for “array” reveals a ton of possible direction for the future of arrays.(Similarly, it would be nice to see the other formula functions be improved upon as well.)I’m hoping that the new Javascript block doesn’t mean that Airtable is going to push all future functions in that direction. That would really hurt people like myself who aren’t JavaScript experts — so I’d love to see Airtable continue investing in their own low-code/no-code backend formula/function code.Thanks! &#

This is a minor request because this is really not a big deal at all, but:It would be kinda cool if the URL Preview Block gave us previews of normal websites as well.It’s not a problem for us to open up URL’s in new browser tabs, but if the URL Preview Block supported normal websites, it could save us a little bit of web browser clutter — because we could quickly see previews right from within Airtable. 🙂

I’d love to have forms that I can select a record and then specify which field It want updated. I should not be that hard. Come on!

One of the very best things about Lookup Fields is that if you have more information in the Lookup Field than what visually appears on your screen, Airtable give you a little ellipsis symbol (…) to let you know that there is more information that you’re not visually seeing.This is AWESOME! It seems like Airtable’s Zapier action “New Record in View” doesn’t always trigger.This action ONLY triggers if a record appears in the view for the VERY FIRST TIME.However, if a record falls off the view — and then that very same record returns to the view at a later date — it DOESN’T trigger the Zapier action again.We actually need the ability for the Zapier action to trigger EVERY SINGLE TIME a record reappears in the view, whether or not the record has appeared in that view in the past.Thanks!

Currently, when you retrieve records through the API and specify a view, only those records that are visible through the view are returned, and they are returned in the order in which they are displayed. This is a noce feature, and I use it often. It would also help if the API returned only the columns that are visible through the specified view. In other words, any hidden columns would be excluded from the result. I believe that this would help both in terms of security and performance. ~ Tim

Hey!I use an excel sheet to track my projects and an awesome feature is that I can post a hyperlink to a project folder I have in File Explorer and go directly to the desired folder.Is there something like that on Airtable? I noticed you can link URL but I haven’t seen anything for file explorer specifically.Please help!

OK - I push the upgrade link and it takes me to an Apps page where the Airtable shows as installed with an OPEN box. I push OPEN and I get the above message. This is a continuous loop. Right now if you have a column you can see the sum, average, median, min, max, range, and few other summaries of every record in that column.One thing I think would be very useful for formula columns is to apply that formula to all columns.So if the formula for column 3 is Column 1 / Column 2… then the summary applies the same formula to the sum of column 1 and the sum of column 2.The closest thing that I can come up with is “average” but that isn’t accurate.

I noticed that one rather quite simple but useful feature is missing in the context of adding pictures to a record.AS IS:Save picture to folder --> Open folder --> Drag and drop to recordTO BE:Copy picture --> CMD + V to paste into recordSo essentially, I would like to copy & paste instead of taking the extra step via the folder. This would be a lot more convenient and save time.
