Hi, There seems to be a display but on iOS 13 when entering a mutiple select choice in the app. The bug was here before but it has now changed behaviour and breaks the UX. When the list of choices is long and takes the whole screen height, the “done” button at the top right is no longer clickable, and seems to be partly hidden under another view element. As a result, it is impossible to exit the choice selection view, and the app needs to be killed to change view. I would attach a screenshot but it looks like I dont have the permission to do so

Just a faster time input, scrolling each time is not optimal and could be a clock interface or the ability to decrease the range of time to day time.

Greeting from beautiful Austin, Texas! I’d like to suggest a new logical operator, “IN”. It would return true if any value matched the field. It would look something like this: IN({myTestField}, “text1”, "text2,…) or IN({myIntegerField}, 2001, 2002, 2003…) This logical operation can currently be implemented with OR(), but can get pretty long if there are a lot of options. Thanks!

The API Documentation is a great way, to communicate with developers! It would be great to add a little more context to the data, to help developers handling it correctly. The Base already has a description. This could be appended to the “Introduction” section of the API Documentation. Descriptions for Tables and Columns Description-Fields could be added to Tables and Columns as well. Helping to communicate the proper content of ambiguous fields. Use Case: Storing the production Data of print products in a base. In a print context the width of a page can be described with or without the page bleed. Additionally the description would help to communicate the unit used for the number field. A description for this field given by the author could be: »Width of the page in millimeter, measured widthout the bleed« This could be appended to the description of the value in the API documentation.

I’m looking for a form view a-la-FileMaker. I want to design a page/form that displays my attachment (image) very large (in an ideal world the image could pop out when hovered over) with fields next to it that allow me to input data. The gallery view is great but my attachments are too small for my purposes. I need a very large image with my blank metadata fields next to it. I manage the post-production for an apparel company and i often pass off my images to the style team and product team who then enter keywords that relate to the outfit in the images. Can you provide a feature to allow users to customize meta data (social share image, description, keywords) for bases, tables, & views? It’s annoying to see the generic Airtable image + promotional text every time a link is shared.

I would love an option to import URL meta share image to use as Gallery cover photo. It’s frustrating having to create custom images if they already exist on the web. This would be SO helpful.

If users want form submissions to always have certain criteria (i.e. to always go to a specific view). This would simplify forms and reduces errors + steps for users.

It would be great if we could take a photo of a business card, then have OCR read the info and place it in the appropriate columns you define. It would also include the image of the card as an attachment. Some kind of process wizard that highlights the info before it places it into the columns might be needed for this, but if you do this it would be unbelievably helpful!

Hi, I would like to add a field to a form for a phone number, but as Im not in the USA/Canada, the phone number format doesn’t make sense for our users. I could perhaps create a formula to format phone numbers in a particular way, but that’s of no use in a form because you cant insert formula fields in a form. I would like to suggest a phone number format as follows (XX) XXXX-XXXX. Perhaps this could be an alternative format option under the present phone number field. Many thanks. Baden

Can you extend the “undo” feature after deleting a Base for longer than 7 seconds? Ideally, 24 hours, but even 30 seconds or 1 hour would be extremely helpful and less nerve wracking.

The browser version of AirTable has “TODAY” as an option. To cancel, you just click away from the dialog. The mobile version has three buttons: “CLEAR CANCEL OK”. It cancels anyway if you tap out of the dialog, so a cancel command is not really necessary. So, why not replace the CANCEL option which is not in the browser version anyway, and have the mobile app date picker have the TODAY button? This will make the two versions behave in the same manner. This at first glance would be an easy fix.

I tend to have a number of Airtable views open, each with a different focus. When switching from one to the other, I find it hard to read the name of the view, as I use very long names. (30 to 50 characters) In that same menu bar, there is a lot of white space on the right. - It would be great if one could have a general setting (for the whole base) that allows one to expand the space on which the name is displayed. (Or give more space, always. But perhaps that creates problems for people viewing tables on mobile devices.) Would this be easy to fix? I note that someone else also has the same concern and created a script which partly addresses this issue. Does anyone else have the same problem?

It would be great if you could pull out the summary date from Dashboards into Zapier. Example use case: Every monday, run a zap that pulls the total sales at that time from an Airtable view and sends it to Slack.

I have been using the android apps for a while only to realize that its benefit is limited since there is no summary bar. If anyone knows where it was located, please point me out. If not, I really hope the developers will make it available in near future. Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

It would be great if the restricted access via email domain link went to a login page like the password protected one instead of the generic restricted access screen. This way it wouldn’t result in a dead end and would just prompt a login/create an account opportunity to access the shared view.

mobile version can insert a record above, below by long tapin mobile version, it only add new record in bottom…but in browser version, it is really important, i can insert record in any whereby drag, or right click.really need in mobile version to insert record like google sheetlong tap can insert above or below.

I have to share forms and tables often. Having a “copy link” button would improve the UX of share functionality.

While Airtable is basically like a Swiss Army Knife that allows users to create almost anything they like, this does cause some issues for folks who would like to use Airtable to replace CRMs and Task Management software. For example, there are not Task or Location/Address field types, as these would essentially need to be “grouped fields” that have more than one value (a task field would need a Task Name, Assignees, Due Date, dependencies, perhaps a priority, etc.). While one could build a separate linked table called Tasks with all this information, Locations are more difficult to handle (e.g., many duplicate city names, no conditional selection logic).So, the ability to create something aking to a grouped/super field that could be customized to house multiple sub-values within the same object could be very useful.Just spitballing here, but here’s a few examples off the top of my head:Name/Contact (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Full Name, Title)Location (Address 1, Address 2, C

To be able to rename attachments directly on Airtable would be awesome and a huge time saver.

Airtable, we need the possibility to change Currency , Date , etc depending on our Country. I post some suggestions just to help . Airtable its incredible, but this its critical because we cannot import files. Thanks !

Reading data and column in a Table can be challenging especially when you need to be focused. Although airtable has a very pleasant interface, the color of the texts is a medium gray which makes difficult to read. I think it would be really helpful to have the ability to adjust the contrast of the texts. The font itself is very light weight which makes info even more hard to read. Considering also the fact that airtable is used by people older than 45 yo, their vision is not that sharp. This issue (for me) Is mostly design issue, which creates practical problems. We have the flexibility and the power to make complex databases with linked info from each table, and we are spending more time trying to read what it says. Even one second more is important in the long term. Of course this is also depending from the quality of the monitor you are using. So unless you use Mac or eizo monitor, the appearance of the) everything looks flat . I have check it various monitors. And except mobile

With several use cases I have realized that managing records would be much easier if you could change linked fields by drag and drop between groups of fields but it doesn’t work like it does when records are grouped by input field types.One example:One table with a list of production orders and another one with linked production runs. When production orders are grouped by production runs it would be most convenient to move production orders to another production run by drag and drop instead of changing links individually for each record.

It would be nice to copy over options from another Single Select field from another table
