A good feature would be to set up the ability to prefill a form with current wp user data. This would allow the logged in user to have their name, email etc. included in the form.

Hi I am finding I am using Zapier to automate stuff in a client project and it would be much more useful if the integration were of the Instant type (as some other database products have with Zapier). Example use cases I have an app where a user can add an article to a table and the app needs to then work out which clients are due to receive that article based upon some logic (Javascript largely) in a Zap. I specialise in HR software generally - in a leave app you need to be able to create records for each day of a leave (so that you can properly analyse it). This involves comparing the date for each day with the employee’s working pattern and also a list of public holidays to determine which ones are actually leave days. This should happen immediately when the ‘parent’ record is created. I believe that this would greatly increase the flexibility of the product.

As far as I know, currently it’s not possible to create a parent/child style application in AirTable. When working on a layout with groups, it would be awesome if Airtable gave us the ability to automatically display the total number of unique groups on that layout. Even better, automatically number the groups going down the left-hand margin, so we could say “I’m currently looking at group #17 of 28 total groups”.

Probably a lot can be borrowed from the maps API implementation in Blocks.Would be super awesome to enter an address and have the Base then ‘know’ the timezone of that record!Cheers.

I’m having a conversation with my boss about uploading photos to our department’s airtable. I find being able to track a story via a visual extremely helpful, but he doesn’t want to add an additional storage place when we already keep high res versions in Zenfolio.I wish there was a way to set a url field as an “image” field in the way that the attachment field automatically shows images. That way I could link to the original files while maintaining the usefulness of having an image associated with an Airtable item.

I am an agency and I have different bases set up for different clients, but if I improve the structure of one then I have to do it to all of them - I want to have a master template which is the structure, formulas and set up etc of all of them, but each one just has different content

I’d like to suggest that a Form view could be allowed have a more meaningful URL. Now that the “Group” feature is no longer Beta I am hoping it will be added to the Andriod App. I designed the entire new workflow around using the grouping feature and now that I am having to do some operations mobile I see that its does not work and has made things very difficult.

One of our biggest feature requests is that we would love to see gigantic improvements to formulas — in particular, way more flexibility with typing in formulas, and better improvements to error capture.More specifically, these are our top 3 requests for formulas:Please allow us to have a much larger typing area for formulas, more like a real programming language would allow. Currently, we can’t press the “return” key within our formulas — nor can we space out the formulas to be more readable.On that very same note, the formulas should be waaaaay more understanding & waaaaaay more forgiving when it comes to spaces & returns. All other programming languages simply ignore extra spaces or extra carriage returns, but any of this causes Airtable to give us an error message. For example, the first formula below works just fine. But the 2nd & 3rd formulas below don’t work at all. The ONLY difference is one extra space in the 2nd & 3rd formulas. Thanks for your hard work on this beautiful software! I would love to see the ability to start the time tracker block from an individual record. The workflow would be much more simple than having to click to the time tracker block, press Start, (and the most time consuming part) searching for the proper “task” record to add time to. Thanks again!

I’d love to see integration with automate.io. It offers a lot more features and better pricing compared to Zapier for what I need to do.

So I have a project with a lot of linked task records. When I expend the project record it would be nice to be able to auto sort linked task records by due date rather than having to manually drag records so they appear in order.

I’d like to have form responses be already linked to my “clients” table - with the client pre-selected in the form. I know this can be done, however, it cannot be done without my client being able to see all of my other clients which poses as a privacy issue. Please create a feature that would hide all except the selected data.

Since calculated fields cannot be merged, why have them appear in the dedupe block’s merge interface? If you have a lot of calculated fields it’s a lot of clutter with no purpose.

In the #ios app, the search bar will live-filter records in a table based on the presence of search parameters in any field within the records. https://dsc.cloud/jmo/ScreenRecording_05-23-2018-14-50-47-1527112332.MP4 This allows me to use the barcode search feature in #ios to search for a barcode in a field other than the “Name” field - it’s glorious. It was quite frustrating to realize that my technicians who have #android phones cannot do the same - the search bar does not search across all fields. It only searches the primary field (“Name” in my case). We both scan the same barcode and my iPhone returns a result #android specific #feature-requests - please add multi-field search comparable to the iOS search feature in the Android app. Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

Love AT. The ‘Expaned View’, not so much. There is so much dead space. No control over the width. Is there any way to add css? The form isn’t user friendly at all. Any suggestions? We have sales people in here so we want to make this easier. The form just doesn’t cut it.

Please support line break ("\n") in kanban function fields. Line breaks work in long text fields, so why not in function fields? Concatentation and line breaks are the best way to create usable, condensed kanban cards. It’s a shame that functions are not supported.-Donald

Hi,I like to invite external collaborators on my bases sometimes however I could see complaints from my external collaborators on getting Airtable marketing emails.I hope this option can be added if it is not avaliable.I know they can unsubscribe from the marketing emails themselves, but I rather my collaborators do not even get Airtalbe marketing emails after they accept my invite in the 1st place as they are not that tech savvy

New Pro user here. I like the Page Designer, but it’s only one page. It would be great to be able to create a multi-page report.Also, table controls don’t expand or contract to fit the number of records in the table, so I have big real estate for just a couple of records, or I have table rows not showing in the box.

Using a kanban view to manage client requests, and some client-side stakeholders need to be able to interface/receive updates primarily via email.Would like the ability to respond to a comment from my email directly.
