It would be great if you could do more with buttons in Interfaces. For example, link to a from (with URL parameters) from a button so the user has to enter some data before making the change. Alternatively just a prompt for them to enter data when clicking it!

+35Confusingly, Airtable offers 2 different types of buttons, each which does different things.
You can actually add a “button field” to your interface (as opposed to a “button element”), and then you can set that “button field” to open a URL.
You would need to create this button field back in your base before adding it to your Interface.
It makes no sense, I have no idea what they’re thinking, don’t shoot the messenger. Lol.
