Is there a way of sizing a column bigger or smaller in the ios app?

I second that. Clear, well laid out data on a mobile device is key.

Yes, I’m having the same problem. Would be really nice to be able to adjust the width of columns in the mobile app the same way you can in the desktop version… or have the column widths set in the desktop version mirror in the mobile version. - Thanks

I need this capability, too. It’s a requirement for an application I’m developing for customers, so, for what it’s worth, I think it’s more than a “nice to have” feature. Has anyone heard when this capability will be available?

This would be a nice feature to have for both iPhone and iPad to avoid cutting off field values – especially the Name field. On iPhone, nothing is cut off in portrait mode.

However, when I switch to landscape mode, the layout changes. Now a lot of the field values are truncated. It’s ironic because I have more width in landscape mode but I can see less.

On iPad, field values are truncated in both orientations.

Column adjustment is important for a spreadsheet-like application!

Excel have this and so are all the other 3rd party Excel-compatible iOS application.

Need to be able to adjust the first column with please !

Adding my support for this request - the cutoff of field entries makes things difficult.

Please make this a priority. the iOS app is useless for us, all the important fields are cut off. Even on the iPad app the fields are cut off. We use Airtable to keep track of movement of cars for our logistics, it’s important we are able to see the full 16 digit VIN.

I’d like this feature on the iPad app. Shopping multiple apps (to pay ~$40/mo to) and deciding based on ability to view on iPads too.

I need to migrate from Google-style TODO lists to ability to fit entire sentences on one line. The lack of this feature could be a dealbreaker for people like me who want to switch from TODO lists to AirTable. I’m a customer who would like to be a paying customer.

Agree with this thread. We can’t use Airtable efficiently (or even at all, in some cases) on our iPads, because the column widths truncate the data. We have a large iPad Air 3, so there is plenty of horizontal space in landscape mode.

This needs to be a this summer release. We are really hurting over here and it is hindering the extent to which our team can use and support this app.

We use Airtable desktop for our car export business on a daily basis, but the truncated column on mobile devices make this app USELESS

A vehicle VIN is 16 or 17 digit. Usually the last 6 of the VIN is the most important, yet it’s truncated.

Wow, this is stunning. People have been complaining for at least two years, and there’s still no movement on this subject?

I’m finding this is my biggest frustration with Airtable. Everytime I think of something I need Airtable to do, or a feature that I want to use, I end up here in the forums… only to find out that it has been requested for YEARS and it’s still not addressed. Every. Time. Where are the upgrades to the UI and features? Why is there a section for product suggestions when Airtable doesn’t seem to be listening?

Would be great. This one issue makes the iPad version completely unusable; if I can’t read my content, what’s the point?

We are using airtable app with drivers to deliver products to our customers. They need to be able to read the items which are cut off. Please fix this.

Been experimenting the last hour with trying to solve issue with main field width. And the closest I came is this: On IPhone I’ve hidden (almost) all fields in « Hidden fields ». Hope this helps!

Totally agree this is totally ridiculous

Airtable Engineer will not fix this anytime soon.

The company is focusing on Enterprise sales and iOS apps is at the bottom of the list.
