Like many robust webapps I use, I’d appreciate it if pressing ‘?’ in most general places rendered a pop-up of all the keyboard shortcuts in a scroll-able list. Presumably I could also exit w/ ‘?’ or ‘esc’.

You have ⌘ + ? for that (and Ctrl + ? for Windows I guess).
Windows:
/ ? same key on the keyboard
CTL+/ or CTL+? both work.
CTL+/ is easier to press since no shift key needed
CTL+? is easier to remember
