New Field Type: "Live" Fields ⚡️

I think there’s HUGE potential for “Live” Fields, enabled via corporate partnerships.

Imagine a Tracking Number field that live-updates via native sync with FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, etc.

Or a Stock Price/BI field that’s synced to Bloomberg, NASDAQ, etc.

Or a partnership with Salesforce… Google Analytics… Etc.

Oh yes!

Yes, I agree. Airtable has lots of potential for rapid creation of live dashboards.

One of our extensions lets you lookup stock prices in Airtable.

+1 Really great Idea. I would definitifly need to use it for :

Currency exchange rate
Tracking Number of item purchased Item (From suppliers to my business)
Date & Time of a specific region in the world
Phone or internet embeded GPS module for GPS location
If I can fetch a data from a URL I would also use it for a costum cloud data (For exemple in IoT, the real time/almost real time status or data)
