Hi everyone, the title basically sais it all :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:
+1 for multi-language support. We need this in the province of Quebec. We must provide the ability to use French interface language. This may be a show stopper for us using Airtable going forward… unfortunately.
I would also really like to set Monday as the starting day of the week not Sunday.
This is currently not possible to achieve with DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE(Date,'Europe/Berlin'),'ww')
.
Would be really nice if you could implement that feature!
@Katherine_Duh
Please, regional support!
Mainly number format!
I can’t implement to use Airtable professionally use without this feature!!!

And do you know what’s intriguing?
On iOS app, everything is right!
Why can’t we have it right also on PC?
+1 for french! It would be a huge help for our secretary
I’d like to contribute to the Japanese and Chinese translation.
I’m totally available to contribute for Italian translation, my team is mixed and some of them doesn’t want to learn it due to english-only language.
Please give us an update on it!
Glad to help with a spanish translation. Free, fast and well done.
Many times Airtable gets into companies through people who pushes from within with a vision.
It is better to have an optional, not-so-perfect translation, even beta, only of text labels if you want, than nothing, as many of the people in other countries may not speak english, and by definition airtable is meant for collaboration of people across the company.
Thanks
I found a work-around. Specify the format to be currency. Leave the currency symbol blank. Specify your decimal places and you can display large numbers properly.
Are there any news regarding this or when it is expected to be implemented?
Bump! Please support European number formatting!
Any update on this? I would like to implement Airtable in my business, but I would need comma decimals to do this.
Need Russian language in menu
Looking into Airtable right now. But indeed completely useless for us because we need the decimal comma. Don’t understand why this is not possible. Used in (very) large part of the world.
it wouldn’t be as bad if entering decimal values with a different separator (,) wasn’t muscle memory. It keeps happening that i enter expenses for my business and 145,95 ends up as 145950 wich is factor 1000 wrong. At least it makes the error easy to spot. but entering lots of bills really isn’t fun! im glad there are international alternatives to Airtable such as Zenkit

Found a workaround by adding another column with a formula to convert it.
formula: VALUE(SUBSTITUTE({},’,’,’.’))
Resulting type is a number.
Definately essential for professional use of Airtable in our business.
We need Ukrainian Language
Any news about currency to get at least symbol after the amount?
Are there real willingness or actions to localization of Airtable? A lot of requests are quite old…
For project management this creates significant hurdles that will influence our business’ decision on whether to implement on any sort of large scale. Concerned that this still hasn’t been actioned in 3 and a half years.

Come on guys I can offer my free time also, just let me compile Italian language!!
OK I am gonna close my account and go back to using Google Docs. There is obviously no interest in supporting and growing the product outside the US.
Please, Please , Please support Regional Time and Currency.
The use of , and . is different between US and Europe, so its crazy to import a .csv or .xls
Easy to solve if Airtable wants !! You want Airtable ???
Hey Airtable,
Any roadmap to get interface in French? and other regionalization stuffs?
I am extremely suprised that this is not implemented. Seems like a no brainer to me, not being able to select a default date format leads to so much confusion. I urge any Airtable Product Manager that’s prioritizing this to simply try having European style dates on staging for a week or so.
