It would be time-saving to be able to do a simple ascending/descending sort based on the file names within an attachment field.
It could be a setting accessible by the “Customize field type” window with 3 options.
“Drag and Drop”, “A→Z”, “Z→A”
Note: The “Drag and Drop” option could be the default which keeps the original upload order, or the latest manual drag and drop reordering.
