Hi there — it would be great if the following restrictions could be set in form view:

  1. Set a limit the number of attachments that can be attached to a field
  2. Restrict the types of files that can be attached (e.g. to make sure users only upload PDF or DOC files, not any other types).

Just bumping this because I haven’t seen a response, and this is a feature that I really need.

Come on Airtable — implement this feature ASAP!

Bumping this up, because I need to stop people from uploading WAV files which are huge.

We’ve built an advanced form for Airtable. It has an option to restrict the type of files allowed to be uploaded in an attachment field. So you can limit it to only accept images, videos, audio, or documents.

That’s great! Hope to check it out sometime.

I’m not versed in cybersecurity so it may be a non-issue, but I’m concerned about people possibly uploading malicious files to my base via a public form so being able to specify the file type is a feature I would greatly appreciate.

I would like to bump this as well.

Same !
