What is the proposed idea/solution?

In workspace settings, provide an option to choose a default DATETIME_FORMAT format specifier (such as ISO 8601). After choosing this, all future tables/bases date fields will default to this specifier.

How does is solve the user problems?

This saves the time it takes to manually update date fields to comply with a preferred format. Furthermore, it helps enforce consistency from employee to employee.
