Claude + Airtable for Marketing (Live Demo on May 8)

What if your entire marketing operation lived in one place?

Campaign planning
Content generation
Team coordination
Real-time visibility for leadership

All connected. All actually working.

On May 8 (12pm PT / 3pm ET), we’re going live to build this from scratch.

What we’ll cover:

• Live build of a full campaign system (Campaigns → Deliverables → Tasks)
• Use Claude to create campaign briefs, messaging, and content instantly
• Automate status updates across teams and regions
• Use Airtable MCP so leadership can ask:
– “What campaigns are at risk this week?”
– “Where are we behind schedule?”
– “What’s the status of all Q2 launches?”

…and get real answers from real data

Who this is for:

• Marketing teams tired of spreadsheets and status chasing
• Teams using other Project Management Tools but missing flexibility + visibility
• Anyone curious what AI + Airtable actually looks like in practice
• Leaders who want visibility without creating reporting overhead

You’ll walk away with a repeatable system + framework you can apply immediately.

Today's Marketing User Group, led by Ben Green of OptimizeIS, focused on what's possible with the Claude + Airtable MCP connector. Check out the recording and recap below.

What the connector does (and doesn't do)

Once your Airtable account is connected to Claude, it can list bases, search records, and create or update tables, fields, and records -- all scoped to your existing permissions. What it can't do is create interfaces, automations, or forms. That's where Omni comes in, and the two tools are most powerful used together.

Building a base from scratch

Ben prompted Claude to design and create a three-table marketing campaign operating system live, with linked records and recommended fields. A follow-up prompt added fields for regions, channels, owners, approval stages, and campaign health. The more specific your prompt about your team's actual workflows, the more tailored the output.

Querying your data conversationally

Claude can answer questions like "what's at risk this week?" or "what should I focus on for my leadership call?" by pulling directly from your base. Referencing a base ID or Airtable URL in your prompt helps Claude find the right data faster.

Skills for repeatable workflows

You can save a skill that gives Claude standing instructions for recurring tasks -- for example, "whenever I ask about my weekly marketing meeting, go to this base and return risks, opportunities, and key updates with links to the records."

The Claude + Omni handoff

Use Claude to design your schema and generate prompts, then hand those prompts to Omni to build the actual interfaces and automations. Ben demonstrated this end-to-end live.
