Airtable app repeatedly requires new login — anyone else experiencing this?

Hi everyone,

we’ve been experiencing an issue with the Airtable app and I wanted to check if others are seeing the same thing. Our technicians — and I can confirm this myself — are constantly being prompted to log in again. Sometimes you can get around it by fully closing and reopening the app, but this gets really annoying during daily work.

Is this a known issue? And is there any chance the re-authentication interval could be extended?

After exchanging a bit with support, here is the following information:

Thanks so much for providing all those details! I've been looking into these issues with our mobile team, and I wanted to give you an update on what we've found.

The frequent logouts on iOS have been occurring more frequently over the last month or two, and our team is actively investigating the root cause. They're aware this is not a good user experience for your colleagues — but the solution is a tricky and delicate one that can't be rushed. Our engineers are actively working on it, but they expect it will take a few months for that fix to be deployed.

Currently, the suggested workaround is to log out, force-quit the app, and log back in again, which is expected to minimize the frequency of logouts (since you will be starting use with a fresh session). 

Besides the above suggestion, I haven't received any other workarounds from engineering in the meantime while they work towards a fix. We understand the impact this has on your team's daily use of Airtable, and I do apologize for that. 

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. I'm happy to pass those along to engineering.

Hey Viktor, I’m in the similar boat as you. I didn’t have constant login issues until I started using interfaces with the IOS app. Hopefully they can get it figured out, because it’s a disaster right now

A bit of feedback from my side. If I understood the support emails correctly, and after testing the app again with the latest update, it seems the issue has been resolved. Can you confirm this?
