Airtable not loading in Chrome

I am trying to open Airtable in Chrome but when I enter a url into a browser and hit return, the screen turns white and my Airtable is tab at the top of browser spins as though it was loading.  Then nothing happens.  The same url works on my colleagues computers no problem (by way of trouble shooting, my internet is working fine, OS and browser is up to date and running most recent version, I cleared my cache and browsing history, disabled all extensions).  I can get it to load in Safari but I want to use Chrome (I’ve set up some extensions and automations in Chrome and don’t want to leave this browser).  Not sure what to do!

Hm, may I know if incognito works?  If it does, might be something to do with the Chrome profile / cookies stuff maybe?

@TheTimeSavingCo I’ve got the same issue. Tried it in incognito and Airtable worked fine. I’ve already tried deleting all cookies and cache, reinstalled Chrome, nothing works.

Hey @dcurme,

I guess you tried command + shift + R already? This forces the browser to bypass the local cache and re-download all resources (images, scripts, CSS) for the current page.

Oh I see this was taken into consideration already…. hmmm. Silly suggestion. But did you try restarating your computer? Coming from a non technical background usually that solves issues for me lol.

Haha :D es, that was the first thing I tried (and also after reinstalling Chrome etc.). Unfortunately, without success.

Aghhhhh. I’ll try to come up with an additional suggestion. Ok, just out of curiority. What kind of extensions and automations do you have running on your chrome browser?

Bitwarden, Asana and Gemini - however, I already tried deactivating all of them

@TheTimeSavingCo Incognito works (but is inconvenient since I have to enter password each time)

@bille Sorry to hear this is happening to you and I’m glad I’m not the only person experiencing it!

@Mike_AutomaticN same as bille, I uninstalled all Chrome extensions, restarted computer, cleared cache and browsing history, and so on.

@dcurme  Hm, may I know if it works if you create a new Chrome profile?

@TheTimeSavingCo yes, it appears to work in a new Chrome profile.

Nice, I’m glad that worked!  Are you going to try to troubleshoot the old profile?

@TheTimeSavingCo yeah, I am going to still troubleshoot the old profile.  I’m in touch with Airtable support directly and working on the issue with someone there.  I’ll report back once I know more since this seems to be an issue affected more people than just me.

im having this same issue today. 01/27/26 - this is clearly a backend issue causing this.

Having exact same problem - works in Incognito mode, but never in a standard browsing window. Reset all bookmarks and reinstalled Chrome to to avail. Cleared cache and cookies.

No change.

I am also having this issue. I have the same Chrome profile running on three different computers and it works fine on all but one of them, which of course is the one I use all the time for AirTable. It will work in incognito mode, and it works in Safari, just not in Chrome. Started happening late last week.

Hey guys, not sure how much AT can do about it but it but they might have an interesting/different answer than we had. You will probably want to reach out to support@airtable.com

Hi many of my coworkers are having the same issue. It works for them on another chrome profile but even if they delete and re add their faulty profile it doesn’t solve anything.

Have also received similar reports from a Client. They have tried clearing cache and cookies and it still doesn’t work.

A different browser does work.

Ok so try these steps:

1.) Clear full cache and browsing history

2.) Delete all cookies for Airtable.com

3). Make sure Chrome is running the most update to date version (there was a software update literally yesterday). You should have at least version 144.0.7559.110.

4.) Do all that then restart your computer.

5.) Try to load a base in Chrome. If it works, close the tab and quit Chrome. Open Chrome again, try to open the same base again.

Let me know if that works!

Tried this just now. Same issue. Still will not load.

I keep having instances where it works for a few minutes, and then I need to go to a different page or reload and it’s broken again. Very frustrating.

I heard back from the support and they confirmed that this is an ongoing issue and they are aware.

“Thank you for sharing these details with us. Our engineering team is aware of some trouble that users are experiencing with loading Airtable in a Chrome browser. They are continuing to investigate this behavior. While we continue investigating, we'd encourage you to enable an alternate browser (such as Safari, Firefox, or Edge) or leverage an incognito browser. This has proven to be a reliable workaround and would allow you to remain productive while we identify and resolve the root cause.”
