Hey @jwag!
Actually I never used it. I usually follow personal best practices for making bold changes to live bases (should probably write something on that matter and share it here), so I wouldn’t say Sandbox is an absolute MUST. But for sure would have been very nice to use it on multiple occassions.
@ScottWorld any experience using Sandbox?

Hi @Mike_AutomaticN!
Thanks for asking! I never requested access to the sandbox beta, so I do not have any experience with it yet. It will be very interesting to see how it works.
However, similar to your thoughts above, I don’t think the sandbox will be too valuable of a feature for me, so I doubt that I will be using it much.
Similar to what you mentioned above, I have an extremely long history of making live changes to very complicated enterprise-level database systems, because I’ve never before used a database platform that offered a sandbox.
I spent 3 decades developing in FileMaker which doesn’t offer a sandbox, and now, I’ve been developing in Airtable for almost a decade
I have never experienced or caused a problem to any of my clients’ database systems with live development, so I don’t have much of a need for a sandbox.
But it will still be cool to play around with it and see how Airtable implements it. And maybe I’ll have a strong use-case scenario for it someday!
