Hi, has anyone had a similar problem and knows how to solve it? I have a field in Airtable with links to images. When I share these links, people cannot access it because they are not AirTable users. Help!

Hello @RoMi03 ,

You are correct, people without access to your airtable base cannot download files just by sending them the link. Most people would recommend using a Box.com account to upload the images to, and then creating a link to those images in your airtable base instead of using the attachment field.

There is a fairly simple solution to this that does not require a third party account:

Create a view that shows only the images you want to share:

This will create a public view where anyone can see and download any of the images in the view.
You can do the same with the gallery view for a more user friendly experience.

Just copy the view link and share.

Hope that helps!

Hey @RoMi03,

As suggested by @Tyler_Thorson, you will want to share a public view with them.
If by any reason that is not good enough, or if you have any issue setting up the public view, please let us know.

You could also build a Gallery page on your interface, and share such page publicly. This might result in a better looking UI for the end user.
