Auto-filling cells with information from other cells

Hello all,
I have a table with filled with products each with their respective item numbers that are 24 characters long. I am looking for a way to put in the 24 digit number and have it automatically fill a separate cell in the line with the last four digits of that number. I need two columns one with the full 24 digit number and one with just the last four. I’m currently just manually entering them separately. TIA
