Hello!

Adding an entry to calendar view automatically set the time to midnight. Is there a way to change the default time to anything other than midnight?! Thanks!

Yes, correct you change the time - wondering if there is a way to change the default time to something other than midnight - because midnight messes up the automations, thank you.

One thing that you can do, is creating an automation that fill out the column "time" with a fixed value..

for example:

so every time that you create a record it will go into that day and after you need to change the day and month

but I don't know how much this could be useful

Otherwise.. another thing that you can do to "Trick" your automation is create a column "Clock".. This is what I'm using in my job.

So all the automations start only when the column "Clock" arrives at 9 am. In this way I'm able to choose the exact time for the automation (Think that the formula will update every 20/30 minutes, so sometimes the automation will start at 9:05 other times at 9:30 am)

That's a good idea too - so does your automation only run if that time if 9:00am or after?

Yes, I choose at 9, so between 9:03 and 9:30 I will have the email (In my case), but you can also use the option "bigger than" 9 so you will have from 9 am

I set up the automation in this way:

If you are using Interface forms or free layout pages, you can set default values for date fields.
However, both the date and time are set, not just the time.
