Changes to the Airtable UI have been made - Can I change back to the previous color theme?

This morning I refreshed a base and I have been surprised that the UI has been changed.

The base colors are a bit different and the text for lighter elements has been changed from white to black.

I have been using Airtable every day for a couple of years. The new enhancements in colors are making my eyes hurt.

Am I the only one with this problem and can it be solved somehow?

You're not the only one. They've made it lighter all round – lighter font weight, lighter colors

Trouble is, I have to squint a bit more 😞

Also, the black icons on medium-color bases and interfaces look awful. Pleeeeease allow us to select the icon color between white and black.

I agree -- the new Ui is hurting productivity while not bringing more value.

I agree, very hard to read/interact with airtable, especially in bright environments with new UI changes. I don't need more eyestrain.
