Changing email logins for Academy and Community

When I created my Airtable Community/Academy accounts forever ago, I set them up with my work email because that was my only Airtable login at the time. I’m now leaving this current position and want to transition my logins to an email account that will still be accessible (which is also tied to my personal Airtable account). I can’t seem to find a spot in the Settings or Profile where this can be changed--am I missing something, or do I need to go to Airtable support directly?

As far as I understand, the Airtable Community and Academy are linked to your Airtable login via SSO, so the first thing to try is updating your email directly in your Airtable account settings  at https://airtable.com/account

However, I am NOT sure whether those platforms maintain separate profiles based on IDs or email addresses. After updating your email, check if your Community history is still there. If not, you may need to revert to your previous email.

If that does not work, you will likely need to contact Airtable support to transfer or update your account safely.

I recommend doing this before your work email is deactivated.

Note: This is based on my understanding, so proceed at your own risk!

I might also inquire with @GCheung specifically on the community side of things.

Thank you @DisraeliGears01 I didn’t know who is responsible for the community forums here.

Thanks for the tag, @DisraeliGears01!

That is correct, we use SSO for the community and Academy. I can help update your email in your community profile — just send me a message, @sarahschoon
