Hey guys,

I'm looking to connect Google Analytics 4 or Google Tag Manager to Airtable.
I can't seem to find a direct link option or any place to input custom code snippet to achieve same purpose.

Thanks a lot!

Here are some ways of accomplishing this:

  1. For a no-code/low-code way of doing this, you can use Make’s Google Analytics 4 integrations.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you can instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.

  2. Alternatively, If you know how to write JavaScript, you can use Airtable's scripting extension to run your own custom JavaScript code. Airtable’s automations also have a “run script” action.

  3. If you’re trying to do this with a form, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are both natively built into Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable:

    - Track data with Fillout’s Google Tags Manager
    - Track conversion data in Google ads with Fillout

Fillout also offers hundreds of additional features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to update Airtable records using a formcreate custom PDF files from a form submissionaccept payments on formspre-fetch dynamic data from an Airtable recordcustomize the style and branding of your formcustomize a theme for your form, display Airtable lookup fields on forms, create new linked records on a formadd a login page to your form, perform math or other live calculations on your forms, collect signatures on a form, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, connect a single form to dozens of external apps simultaneously, add CAPTCHAs to your form, and much more.

I show how to use a few of the advanced features of Fillout on this Airtable podcast episode:
Using Fillout to update an existing Airtable record & create an eSignature approval process with PDF file creation.

Hope this helps!

To do this inside Airtable, try Data Fetcher’s Airtable Google Analytics integration. There is no scripting required and less of a learning curve than Make.
