We imported our client database into Airtable. We want the many of the fields to be single select fields instead of simple text fields. If I convert, will it erase what we have imported or will it make it an option?

+18Hi @Christopher_Jones1 - Airtable will convert a single line text field to a single select nicely, without deleting anything. That said, some field type conversions do things you don’t always anticipate, so I often duplicate a field first (with the cell contents) and try out the conversion on the copy first.
