hi, does anyone know how to copy a group of records.  It's for selecting materials for our manufacturing business.   If we have standard jobs we don't want to have to select the same group of items (records) repeatedly

Hey @CamillaJ,

You can use the small checkbox to the left of your records to select multiple records with all fields on such view, OR you can drag the selection just as you would on an excel file. You can then Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to paste it elsewhere.

Hmm, what’re you selecting them for?  If you find yourself copying the same materials for different jobs constantly, you may want to look into using Record Templates to help with this:

https://support.airtable.com/docs/using-record-templates-in-airtable

For example, if Job A always takes Materials 1, 2 and 3 and you need to make a BOM each time, then you could create a Record Template that would help you create three BOM records, all tied to Job A, for Materials 1, 2, and 3 automatically

Hey @CamillaJ just check mark the ones you are using, and on a new line, press command/control +V.

Also if you are reusing the same records over and over, it might be a good idea to automate this.
