I there a block or formula that will create barcodes for items in my database using the individual fields in each table?

Example: I have an item with a auto number, name, retail price, taxable fields that I want to capture in a barcode. How can I accomplish this?

Airtable doesn’t generate barcodes, but this extension for Airtable does:

@Jay_Stuart: @Kamille_Parks is spot on. I got this app for my project and it works great. @Abdulrahman_Alzanki created it. Good stuff!

MiniExtensions is very expensive, so for these purposes, I personally love using Make’s barcode generator and QR code generator. Make is free if you have 2 or less automations.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread: https://air.tableforums.com/t/make-com-basic-navigation-tips/277

For example, here is how you would instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable: https://air.tableforums.com/t/sending-airtable-data-to-an-external-webhook-such-as-make-com/159

I also give live demonstrations of how to use Make in many of my Airtable podcast appearances here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqssva4liHRwHhQIpTXekG8WObEoyC2F1

p.s. If you have a budget for your project and you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with any of this, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consulting — ScottWorld
