Hello all, -- newbie alert…

Hopefully someone can help me.

I duplicated a form (under the form building option) - changed a few fields. I want the data to go to another Airtable base that I’ve created but the source option is greyed out…

Thank you in advance :)

@tgilllearner

It isn’t possible to change the table for an existing Airtable form, even after duplicating it.

So your only option would be to rebuild the form from scratch.

However, if you really need the ability to duplicate forms and change the tables upon duplication, you can get this feature with Fillout's advanced forms for Airtable.

Fillout is 100% free, and it offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to update Airtable records using a formcreate custom PDF files from a form submissionaccept payments on formscreate new linked records on a formadd a login page to your form, perform math or other live calculations on your forms, collect signatures on a form, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, add CAPTCHAs to your form, and much more.

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

Hey @tgilllearner,

As mentioned by Scott above, this is not possible -you could try submitting this as a feature request using this form, but given how independent different bases are from each other, I don’t think this will be pursued by the product team.

Having said that, if this is something you will be doing ocassionally/frequently (duplicating forms, and chaning the source) you will want to look int Fillout as mentioned by Scott.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for responding so quickly :)

I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to build from scratch… ahh - it would take a long time to get authorisation from my work place to use Fillout.

Will get building - thank you again :)

Hi Mike,

Appreciate you responding too - only occasionally using forms. Thanks again :)
