Embedding Base View in Reply

I’ve seen people embed parts of a base as part of their solution in the forums, but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it myself. The share link creates a standard “link preview”, and the iframe code seems to be ignored entirely.

Anyone know how to do it?

I simply copy and paste the shared link URL into the reply. Most of the time, that results in the base being embedded, but occasionally it only displays a link preview. (For instance, I think today it responded once one way and once the other…) I’ve not been able to determine when it does what. I believe on occasion I’ve edited a reply where only a link preview was shown and had the embedded base appear once the edit was saved, but I’ve also edited such a reply, and the link display didn’t change.

Thanks! I got it working. I wonder what I was doing wrong before…

@Katherine_Duh -

Any idea why this functionality is on-again/off-again? Is there some secret belly-rub I can give the forum to cause it to embed a base on days it’s feeling cranky?

Thanks!

Might have to do with what kind of sharing you are doing…
