What user experience do you try to build on interfaces?

We've built an interface for our artists to submit & view demos and promo releases which they can download via Airtable. We have an attachment field which shows the release artwork. It would be nice, albeit not essential, to have the option to replace the blank image with a fall back. 

I'm sure there might be others who would like the same for products, events, projects if displaying to clients.
