I manage a dataset with each row representing dates and several columns with times.

In this dataset, I really don’t need ‘dates’ in the field but have to use ‘date’ format.

Is there a format or formula or anything else that I don’t need to enter date every time?

Maybe the duration field type will help? It won’t show you AM/PM, but it will format your times in military time.

The main workarounds that I am familiar with are

  1. use a duration field (as mentioned by ScottWorld) and enter times as military times (24 hours)

  2. use a text field as described in this post.

Both options have their limitations.
