When I create a new field, the formula type is not proposed. Why is that ?

Formula field type not available
I’m guessing you’re looking at the mobile app — the mobile app does not allow you to create formula fields. You can only create them in the web or desktop app.
New user here, just spent an hour on my iPad with this same issue. This was easily my biggest issue so far as a newbie.
