+2I have inventory and order sheets, lets say I have 5 no’s of item A and on entering new order on order sheet, quantity from inventory sheet should get subtracted.
I am not sure formula can be used with cell from another sheet.Currently I added count and subtracted from inventory quantity. But worried it may not be final solution.
Am I missing something? Kindly help me

+4I think the best option will be to use a column as a lookup to the sheet that has the info you want, then hide that field if you don’t want it visible on the new sheet. Then you can use a formula without having to point to other sheets or bases.
