Gantt Shared View: " Start date field is hidden or invalid"

I have the same problem as mentioned in these posts:

All of the above posts now show as resolved and closed though no resolution is provided there.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

PS: The strange thing is that at some point it did work but I can’e figure out when/ why it stopped

I tried to reproduce this but couldn’t. I shared a Base with a Gannt view from one account to another, read-only account. The Gannt displayed normally.
