When I update a record in a base, obviously the location of that record changes based on the way the view is being sorted. Is there a way to go straight to the new location when the record is updated?

+35That would be very nice… I would send it as a feature request to support@airtable.com.
One thing to note is that the record doesn’t actually move to the new location until you’re done editing the record. So it does give you time to stay in the record and make your updates. Of course, it’s not very helpful when the record suddenly disappears from you as soon as you’re done editing.
