Given the new integrated Gmail, I’d love to see the ability for Airtable to have a similar integration with Google Chat as Slack where a bot can be added to a Char room and send messages based on Automations.

If Google chat options were available in automations I would cry for joy.
It’s unlikely that Airtable will add this natively to the product, but you can already get Google Chat automations by using Make’s Google Chat integrations along with Make’s Airtable integrations.
If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you could instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.

Airtable is only taking new feature requests via this Product Idea form now -recent change. So if this is important to you, you might want to fill out the form and give it a shot.
In addition to Make, you might want to check out Zapier (I personally do not recommend it) and n8n (I really recommend it). You can check out this article for further info on automation/integration platforms and their differences.
