Airtable automatically created the associated linked record field for you (also known as “the backlink field”) in your employee table when you created the linked record field in your tasks table.
If you don’t see this linked record field, that means it is currently hidden.
To make it visible, click on the “hidden fields” button in your toolbar, and you will see the linked record field that links to your tasks table. You can enable it there to become visible.

Just as an interesting exception to what @ScottWorld mentioned: The only time you will not get a backlink field when you create the original linked field is when you create a Linked Field linked to its own table.
To achieve that you should manually create the backlink field and update it via script.
Not your case, but just thought I’d bring it up for “academic” purposes :D
