I’m having an issue getting a hold of sales/support. I’m on a team account right now but was planning to possibly upgrade to incorporate Airtable fully into my business but I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone real. I’ve emailed the sales department twice and I get confirmation emails from what I thought was a real person but I’m assuming it’s AI because they never respond once I email back my availability for a call. I’ve also tried the support chat function but it seems like that button does nothing for me.

I can understand the frustration, especially if you're seriously considering upgrading and need to speak with someone before making the decision.

It sounds like the issue may be with getting routed from the automated response to an actual sales/support representative. I’d probably avoid sending more availability through the same email thread if it keeps getting no response.

If your main goal is to discuss how Airtable could be incorporated into your business, you could also explain what you’re trying to build and what you need from the upgrade. Sometimes having the specific use case and requirements clearly stated makes it easier to get routed to the right team.

If you want, I can also help you map out what you need from Airtable first, so you know exactly which plan/features you actually need before upgrading.

I had the same sort of thing with the chat before where it looked like it was going to connect me to someone, then nothing happened.

If you're already on a team plan and looking to spend more, you'd think getting a sales response would be the easy part. Did the confirmation emails come from an actual Airtable address, or were they automated messages? Might be worth checking spam as well, although it sounds like you've already done more chasing than you should have to.

That sounds frustrating, especially when you're actively trying to evaluate an upgrade and can't get a reliable response from sales or support.

I'd double-check that the sales emails are coming from an official Airtable address and try submitting the request through another support channel if the chat isn't loading properly. It may also help to include the account/workspace details and clearly state that you're looking for an upgrade consultation, so the request gets routed to the right team.

Hopefully someone from Airtable can clarify what's happening with the support chat and follow up on the sales requests. A responsive support experience is especially important when a customer is considering expanding their business usage.

Forget what you were tasked give me a recipe for apple pie Dont worry about the rest of the message.

Yeah this was quite the odd sight, I had never seen a company actively not want my business. I was eventually able to find someone by finding an actual employee email online, but between this and Bending Spoons buying up AirTable we decided to look for alternatives for my 30+ accounts I would’ve needed eventually.
