As I have orders in my orders table I want to scan the orders by the scanner and update the status to scanned please guide me on how to achieve this.

Are you working on the mobile or web app? If you are using mobile here is the support article for more on the barcode field type.
At the moment, we don’t natively support the ability to generate barcodes using Airtable. However, people have successfully built integrations to do this – some folks talk about how to do so in this community forum thread.
