My vendor requires me to use JotForm to submit new client data and then returns a copy of the completed form to me along with a PDF of the same data. I need to enter that same data into Airtable and wonder if there is a way to scrape/import that data from the email or PDF sent to me from the vendor.

Will your vendor allow you to connect to his JotForm account by giving you a JotForm API Key?

If so, as soon as the form is submitted in JotForm, the information would get automatically imported into Airtable if you set up an automation using Make's JotForm integrations and Make's Airtable integrations.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you could instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.

I also give live demonstrations of how to use Make in many of my Airtable podcast appearances. For example, in this video, I show how to work with Airtable arrays in Make, which you may need to learn in order to work with arrays coming from JotForm.

Alternatively, a much better form software for your vendor to use is Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable, because it natively communicates with Airtable in real-time.

Fillout is 100% free, and it offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to update Airtable records using a form, display Airtable lookup fields on forms, control access to a form via SSO or email domains, perform math or other live calculations on your forms, accept payments on forms, collect signatures on a form, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, create new linked records on a form, connect a single form to dozens of external apps simultaneously, add CAPTCHAs to your form, and much more.

I show how to use a few of the advanced features of Fillout on these 2 Airtable podcast episodes:

Hope this helps!
