Hi,


Can I save data from an external entity (REDCap in this case) into Airtable using an API?


My ideal data workflow would be:

from REDCap into Airtable.

then

from Airtable into SharePoint (via a Microsoft SQL Database ideally).

Yes, the Airtable API is fully capable of doing this. You can also create script blocks (or actions) in Airtable itself to call out to REDCap, thus streamlining the approach.
