Is there a way to import a list of additional pre-defined options for a Single Select Field rather than entering (typing) them one at a time?

Yes:

  1. Define a single-line text field.
  2. Copy/paste the list of options into the field. (You may have to agree to add records, depending on how many options and how many records you have.)
  3. Right-click on the text field header, select ‘Customize field type’, and change the fie;field from text to single- or multi-select.

You now have a select field with options matching the entries you imported.

Hi @W_Vann_Hall

Great advice!

I will be sure to use this suggestion, since I work with multi-select fields and I have often wondered how to import the various options.

Thank you,
Mary
