2 interface questions:

  1. Is there a way to discard unpublished changes? I was trying to add something to a current interface, but it isn’t laying out how I want it to… so I want to revert back to how it was. But it won’t even format itself back to how I originally had it… So I’d like to discard these changes and put it back how it was automatically. This leads me to my next question.

  2. Can the elements on the interface only go into these pre-determined ‘boxes’ that are popping up. Sometimes it won’t allow me to resize things the way I want them because it doesn’t seem to ‘fit the mold’. Does anyone else have this problem?

I hope those make sense!

You can clear unpublished changes by finding the page in the page listing the clicking the three dots next to it.

I ran into this today.

To be clear, I think there are a two options:

  • clicking the “keep as draft” field will keep the changes from publishing.
  • Clear unpublished changes will (allegedly) clear the changes you’ve made but not published.

However, it doesn’t seem to be working as I would expect. You can see here that my interface has unpublished changes, but the option to clear unpublihsed changes is greyed out, and says “there are no changes to clear.” Because of this, I’m not clear how to “revert.”

Hey @laurenCTCL,

Do remember that the Publish button on the top right allows you to publish changes made on different interfaces and pages simultaneously. Having said that, I would guess that you do not have any unpublished changes for the specific page that you clicked on the 3 dots for, but that you do have unpublished changes for other pages.

Sounds like that could be the case? Please keep me posted!

Thanks @Mike_AutomaticN - yup, the changes are on the page i showed. It’s fine to use the function of not publihsing the changes to a specific page, to revert changes.
