I haven’t been able to login for the past 10 minutes or so. Anyone else having issues?

We are currently investigating reports of instability. Our apologies for any inconvenience you may be experiencing, and more updates soon!

This is the second time in a month airtable has been unusable by my team. I pay for this service and my work comes to a complete stop if I can’t access my bases!

Down for us as well. Sometimes we use VPN or proxies like Hotspot Shield extensions on chrome to access different servers in Europe (we’re in South Asia). But this time even that workaround isn’t working

Same problem here…

I have everything in the system and can’t access the information. Hope they solve the problem soon!

While this is the longest down time this year, hopefully it will be back up soon.

Per the twitter link here are some stats on historic downtimes:

June 12, 2020: down for 14 minutes

May 14, 2020: down for 26 minutes

March 17, 2020: down for 13 minutes

February 24,2020: unknown duration

February 10, 2020: unknown duration

January 29, 2020: unknown duration

January 16, 2020: down for 22 minutes

What a time to pick for an upgrade!

Israeli hackers are relentless.

Yes. Interesting message to share because I seriously doubt a dev team the caliber of Airtable would actually upgrade the servers in the middle of the morning on a work day…

Yeah, this must be an “unplanned upgrade” in order to fix the problem.

It’s also amusing/frustrating/annoying/stupid that the the “click here” link to contact support in the “upgrading” message doesn’t actually lead directly to a page for contacting support. Instead it leads to a page that, buried in the text, tells users to "When logged into Airtable, use the help menu in the upper right corner to select “Contact Us”. Um. if we can’t log into Airtable because Airtable is down, then we can’t contact support that way.

I’ve no idea what to do with myself anymore

It was back up for me very briefly, but it’s really struggling.

It looks like we’re still pointing to an older contact page - sorry about that. There’s a contact form at https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/requests/new that you can visit for writing in to support. However, the quickest way to get updates will be status.airtable.com.

@Jason Thank you for all the effort that you pour back into this community, supporting all the users, and keeping us informed as best you can. I’m sure that someone threw up that upgrading message in a hurry and didn’t look too deeply into the text of the page.

Thanks @kuovonne! Could you share a screenshot of where you saw that message so I can look into it?

Sorry, I didn’t keep the window open, and I don’t get that page anymore. I also didn’t keep the window open. It most definitely was not the link that you provided in this thread. I can now log in and most of my bases are available.

I think that the page had a link to this page on the sidebar, but is not listed on the sidebar of this page.

No problem! I setup a redirect for that old page, so it’s not accessible anymore, but I was curious what message linked to it and where it was in the product.

Ah, that’s why I can’t find the old page anymore. I originally saw the link just below the “We’re upgrading the Airtable servers with some improvements and will be back shortly.” message, which appeared when I launched Airtable (either from the Windows app or from a browser).

When Airtable was first down, I got a blank page and then a timeout message. In the middle of the down time, I got that “upgrading” message. Then it went back to a blank page. Then eventually Airtable loaded, but not all the data loaded. Then Airtable loaded with a red icon in the corner of several bases. The red icon has disappeared from most of my bases.

@Jason Someone posted the screen on the twitter:

Well, that was a long hour and a half.

All Airtable services are now back to normal and our engineers are continuing to monitor the situation. Thank you all very much for your patience. We know that our customers rely on Airtable in order to do their work, so we sincerely apologize for the disruption.
