Linking tables is entering unnamed record

I’m trying to link my products to my sales records to mark which of my products I’ve sold. Every time I try to link the tables I either get an ‘unnamed record’ across the board or duplicated data across the top of my sheet, depending on which one I try to link from. All fields have name so I do not understand why it would say unnamed. nor why it would add new data instead of linking matching Product IDS I’m trying to link.
