I am trying to make a tutoring database and have it so when a tutor claims a students session as a record and add themselves onto the record via the fillout form it makes it so that when another student loads up the page a conditional tells them that someone has already taken the spot. The problem is this only happens if the person opens up the form page at a time after the tutor already submitted his or her form or if the person reloads the page. I was wondering if there was a way for the form to refresh instantly without the tutor having to click refresh to let them know that someone took the spot because if both tutors open the form at the same time and tutor A submits first and takes the spot. On Tutor B's end it still shows that he can still take the spot so when he submits it kicks tutor A off the spot and claims it as tutor B's.

Ironically, this is the one & only feature that Airtable offers on their forms that Fillout DOESN’T offer on their forms.
So this is the one & only time that somebody would need to use Airtable’s forms instead of Fillout’s forms to get an advanced feature. Otherwise, Fillout always wins 100% of the time.
The Fillout team told me that they would work on adding this to their product, but it doesn’t look like it’s coming anytime soon. :(
So the only solution for now is to use Airtable’s forms for this.
