In the new form builder, can you modify the layout for more contrast (other group background colors)/larger text size like in the old one? The old one seemed to have more options to make it easier to read and follow. This current one does not seem to pass accessibility requirements as you can’t change the font and formatting of the questions and helper text as much.

Unfortunately, you can’t do much in terms of design, layout, or fonts.

However, you can customize the style and formatting of your form by using Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable.

Fillout is 100% free and it offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to:

Fillout also offers the ability to update Airtable records using a formcreate custom PDF files from a form submissionaccept payments on formspre-fetch dynamic data from an Airtable record, display Airtable lookup fields on forms, create new linked records on a form, add a login page to your form, perform math or other live calculations on your forms, collect signatures on a form, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, and much more.

I show how to use a few of the advanced features of Fillout on these 2 Airtable podcast episodes:

Hope this helps!

Hey @AW31_2,

I don’t think this will be enough, but you can check this latest release on background colors.

Airtable native forms are pretty limited.

I JUST SAW after I posted…they’re so pastel. Was hoping more colors for the Group background colors at least.

Lol, I didn’t play around with it yet. I’ll check it out!

In short, probably your best option is to go with Fillout as mentioned by Scott.

There is also Plumsail public forms tool which has direct integration with Airtable and unlimited design options. Plus, there are no feature limitations on the Free plan compared to Fillout.
