I want to create a single compact form where the top half of the screen is a tabular view of my Contacts table records and the bottom half of the screen is a tabular view of my Activities table records. Any given Contact record selected in the top view is the filter criteria for Activities records displayed in the bottom view. I know how to create linked tables and fields, my question is how I create this classic (old school) parent-child DB browsing view?

Thanks.

Hi @Daniel_Poor - you can’t create a single view in Airtable as you describe I’m afraid. The closest solution I can think of is to create views on your Activities table, filtered by contact and switching views to see the set of activities for each.

Yes, I was looking to do the same. But it seems this is not something that can be done with Airtable unfortunately.
