I would like to use scan barcode feature in Airtable. I created a form and shared the “shareable” link of the form with another person. But he was not able to scan a barcode with the link on his phone. Only if he logs in to the app and I make him creator or editor, he was able to scan a barcode. Is there a way to make it work with the link because I don’t want to share the base with him.
I have the same question. I would like to let employees check inventory out of our warehouse with their phones using the scanner tool to search but I obviously don’t want them to have access to the entire base. It doesn’t seem like anyone has a solution for this.
+15We created an extension that lets you scan a barcode then pass it to your Airtable form.
(so you can update inventory status for example).
I have the same issue. It’s good to know that there is a third party solution available, but it’s $39 a month (at the time of this post).
