Hello everyone.

I’m using Airtable for my work for several month and I would like to send email as comment to a specific airtable row (like is possible on Trello: I can add comments sending a specific email to card).

Do you know if it is possble or not?

Thanks.

Carmine

Hi @Carmine_Molisso, and welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately, there are a few issues with this idea, the biggest of which is the lack of API methods for the integrated commenting system. Without that, I believe the best you can do is use the API to transform emails into notes stored into the target record. This has a number of cascading issues circling it, but it is possible if you like the idea of attaching email comments as notes integral with the record itself.

Hi @Bill.French,

thanks for your reply and for the solutions that you proposed me.

However I belive, like you highlighted in the reply, that all these solutions have a lot of iusses and I think that we need to wait a more efficient API system which can cover also comments.

Thanks, best regards.

Carmine
